The Executive Boards of VALE-NJ and ACRL-NJ/NJLA CUS approved this statement on the Value and Importance of School Libraries. 

In addition, the Executive Board of the New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) adopted this statement and launched an advocacy campaign called Unlock Student Potential (unlockstudentpotential.org). The goal is to demonstrate the impact that school libraries, an information literacy curriculum and certified school library media specialists have on student achievement.
