The User Education Committee will be meeting virtually with the VALE Shared Information Literacy Committee on Feb 13, 2015 from 10am-12noon. A link and a phone number to call will be shared via our mailing list prior to the session. We will be using a conferencing tool which will also you to connect via headset or phone.
Some of the members of the ACRL-NJ/NJLA CUS User Education Committee and the VALE NJ Shared Information Literacy Committees have collaborated on an Open Letter Regarding the Framework for Information

This has been sent to the ACRL Task Force and will be forwarded to the ACRL board after the petition has had a chance to circulate among academic librarians.

Our meeting has been rescheduled to Friday Dec 5th 2-4pm via Adobe Connect. Members will receive login info prior to the session. A majority of the meeting will be a discussion of the Third Draft of the ACRL IL Framework. Members are expected to have read through the document prior to the session.
