Wanted: BCMC Vice Chair/Chair Elect and Secretary!
The Vice-Chair/Chair Elect, elected at the fall meeting, shall serve a two-year term and succeed the office of Chair. The Vice-Chair/Chair Elect shall assist the Chair in managing committee related business, including working with the Chair to coordinate committee representation to other NJLA-CUS/ACRL-NJ committees related to charges of BCMC.
Following the ACRL mission in advancing the quality of academic library services, the Bibliographic Control and Metadata Committee shares and explores common and challenging issues faced by the technical services cataloging/metadata librarians in the academic and research libraries in the state of New Jersey.
